We would like to invite you to participate in 4th Forum of Solar Energy Industry, that will be held in Warsaw's Palace of Culture and Science, 31st May, 2011. As it was in previous year, there will be organized exhibition of solar panels.

This year's Forum will coincide with the official inauguration of three years, European campaign to promote solar energy – the European Solar Days. Coordinator of the campaign and Forum is the Institute of Renewable Energy (IEO).

Forum is addressed primarily to manufacturers, distributors and installers of solar thermal systems and public and industrial investors.
We expect to be visited by special lecturers:

• Robin Welling – President of European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF)
• Jan Erik Nielsen – Director of Solar Energy Department in PlanEnergi Comapny
• Roger Hackstock – Director in AustriaSolar – initiator of campaign European Solar Days (from 2002)
• Representatives from crucial institutions and ministries

It became a tradition that the Forum is an opportunity to strengthen and formalize cooperation in the production and installation companies of solar energy sector in Poland and the EU.

Topics of Forum:

• The most up-to-date statistics about selling solar collectors in Poland (held every year by Institute for Renewable Energy)
• The newest selling results of solar collectors in European Union held by ESTIF
• Role of solar thermal energy in National Action Plan for Renewable Energy Sources until 2020
• Summary of the first edition of campaign European Solar Days (campaign will be organized in first two weeks of May 2011)
• Conclusions and summary after one year of conducting programme of subventions for solar collectors (National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management)
• New markets for solar collectors

The last part of Forum will be Discussion Panel where those topics will be raised:

• Needs and new opportunities of financial support for solar energy sector
• New markets for solar collectors

In Panel Discussion will participate representatives from Ministry of Economy (Department of Energy), Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan (PKPP Lewiatan), Chamber of Commerce – Polish Heat, Solar Panel, The Polish Bank Association (ZBP),  Association of Polish Districts.
